SYNOPSIS: For one weekend in July, the City of Toronto transforms its streets into a closed racing circuit. For drivers, this might be one of the most challenging racing circuits they will ever encounter. Be it racing at top speeds down Lakeshore Boulevard, steering clear of the endless concrete walls and navigating the many surface changes, The Streets of Toronto is a race course like no other. 


Follow alongside professional race car driver Mac Clark as he overcomes the challenges of Toronto, competing in the 

USF Pro 2000 Championship presented by Continental Tire, with appearances by some of Canada’s finest in motorsports including James Hinchcliffe, Ron Fellows, Rob Howden 

and more.

David Porteous is an award winning documentary filmmaker, musician and motorsports media producer. Porteous has released 7 documentary films and his work has been featured on outlets such as the BBC, CBC, CTV and more. 


Porteous’ motorsports documentary 257 Down premiered in Spain at the Madrid Human Rights Film Festival and received a notable endorsement from Justin Trudeau, the former Prime Minister of Canada.

The documentary War Music, which captures Porteous’ solo journey through Europe following the footsteps of soldiers who fought during World War II, premiered in Scotland, screened at film festivals and was featured on news outlets around the world. The song “Cologne, Germany”, from the film, received an honourable mention in the Billboard Song Contest. 


Donations will help fund the creation of new documentary films and art projects.
